What began as one groomer's passion for dogs has grown into two boutique salons in the heart of Lanarkshire — Glenboig and Holytown.
Meet the owner
Sylvia
A qualified professional groomer since 2009, Sylvia built Dog Beauty by Sylvia on a simple belief: every dog deserves to feel calm, comfortable and beautiful. Each appointment is one-to-one, unhurried and tailored to the coat, breed and temperament of the dog in her care.
From first puppy trims to specialist spa therapy for sensitive skin, Sylvia and her team treat every pet as though it were their own — and warmly welcome you and your companions to either salon.

2015
A loyal following
Word of mouth grew across Lanarkshire. Nervous dogs, seniors and show coats alike were welcomed, and appointment-only care became the standard so every dog receives calm, undivided attention.
2020
Spa & skincare
The Tauro Pro Line 6-in-1 ozone spa was introduced, adding hydro-massage, milky spa and light therapy for dogs with sensitive skin, irritation or dull coats.

Two salons
Dog Beauty by Sylvia now welcomes clients at two dedicated salons — Glenboig and Holytown — both run to the same exacting standard by Sylvia and her team.

Our dedicated container salon in Glenboig, near Coatbridge — a quiet, private space and home of our ozone spa, ideal for nervous dogs and clients from Coatbridge, Cumbernauld and the surrounding villages.
